Cypress was delighted to present at the 2023 Mental Health First Aid Summit hosted by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Team members Karen Lane, Jasmine Nakagawa-Wong and Brooke Briggance presented on lessons learned while making MHFA training more accessible for the disability community. The MHFA Summit is an event designed for MHFA instructors across the country. This allows folks to come together to discuss best practices in MHFA training, curriculum development and innovations, and challenges in teaching. The team had a great time meeting instructors from various regions and in highlighting the amazing work of the Cypress teaching team! Over 2400 hours of MHFA instruction so far! Go Cypress!
